ShavehBedoiunMoon, or Queen Moon as she would prefer to be called, is the first horse I ever bought. In 2005, I decided I would learn how to ride, and my fourth ride took place on December 4th on Moon. Before the end of the month, we had purchased her.
Moon and I started in Intro Level/Green as Grass and in three short years, we had showed successfully through 1st Level and were already schooling 2nd level when she got injured and had to be retired from serious training. In those 3 years, Moon gained many accolades, and went to the AHA Region 9 Sport Horse Championships. She got a Top 3 and a Top 5 in Training and First Level respectively.
Moon still gives lessons to beginners, and loves going on trail rides. Moon is also content just being plain spoiled rotten and being boss of the pasture.
We recently pulled Moon out of retirement so that we could attempt to finish her Legion of Honor. She started the season 25 points away, and earned the points she needed as well as an extra point. She received her highest score of her career this season, a 67%, and has consistently placed in classes with fierce competition.
