Gardening?!

Quick thought, there are two horse shows at the end of May.  We are definitely taking Moulin and Kahli to the Spindletop Show in Katy, Texas, but are undecided on the Alamo Spring Arabian Show in San Antonio, Texas.  Depends on funds, like everything else.  I'll post more information later, but plan to come root us on if you can!!

So, while on a trip to Lowe's for training cones, we got completely sidetracked and ended up buying some Hibiscus and Azalea plants.  Upon returning home, I took to planting them in front of the house, thus completely changing the entire garden by the stairs. 

Since this was my first foray into gardening, I had Grandma and Ms. Elaine there, and it turned out pretty well I think. I'll try and take a few pictures when the plants start to bloom again (I supposedly purchased multi-bloom Azaleas, so hopefully I'll get lucky).

Well, I rode Phantom and Kahli today, though I did not use the training cones.  I will use them tomorrow as well as fit the old dressage saddle to Moulin so I have something for her to fit in.  Poor Kahli looks so little with her saddle on, though everyone says I do not make her look super small when I am on her.  I do not know whether I believe them yet or not. 

Anyways, both of them did very well for not having had someone on them in at least 2 months.  Hopefully we can find Phantom a home, and I will hopefully be able to post some more information on him at a later date.  I want to try and show him under saddle some this summer, too.  Wish me luck!!
